Our Year In Photos || 2023

Revisiting 2023 through the photo roll and wow, did this year go by fast! And yet when I look over all the things that happened, each season had its own pace and temperament. January’s highlight of course was the much anticipated arrival of the snowdrops, hellebores and tulips. And who can resist the ranunculus in April. We traveled to Los Angeles in the spring. I was very inspired by the large cacti, succulents and palm trees that grow in abundance there. This year we experienced one of our busiest Mother’s Days on record! A wedding at Hycroft Manor and an engagement party in Crescent Beach ended the busy, but beautiful month of May. Summer slid through our fingers with many walks at the beach which inspired our white and neutral coastal theme in our summer home decor. We went to a couple of fun vintage sales, and put our best finds in a new category on our website. Closing out the summer, we had the honour of doing three weddings, one of which was for the well respected Canadian Artist Robert Davidson’s daughter, the others, for my beautiful niece and lastly, for our lovely friend and neighbour, Sam of Bin 101. September we returned to Los Angeles for another quick trip. A visit to Flora Grub Gardens, Shop Atrio and Amber Interiors was a highlight. October was incredibly warm, the garden kept on well into November and December. Christmas this year felt like a lot of you were looking for the comfort and nostalgia of more traditional floral arrangements. Understandably so, given what’s been happening around the world lately. Flowers always bring a lot of comfort and beauty to our world. I hope you see and experience more of their consolation this year.

Thanks for being here and following along! Once again, it’s been such a privilege to share our love of flowers with you in your life’s moments. Here’s to an abundant, flowerful, peaceful 2024!
